We offer a wide variety of services and treatments that can help you live a better life if you suffer from Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and so much more. In addition, we offer IV infusion therapy, allergy testing, and hormone replacement.

PREVENTATIVE CARE
Preventive care should be the cornerstone of your personal health care plan. Emphasis should be placed on avoiding known unhealthy habits. Regular risk evaluations with periodic exams and tests are essential to identify opportunities to make needed changes that will help prevent disease before it occurs. We will assist you in creating a health plan, and more importantly, achieving your goals.

No matter how healthy we strive to be, invariably, periodic acute illness occurs. Fortunately, our bodies are usually able to handle most of these events. However, when necessary, good science and good medicine can assist our bodies to heal during these acute events. We are here to help with urgent care needs.

Due to a combination of genetic factors and triggering events, including unhealthy lifestyle issues, chronic diseases are a common occurrence. Although we all try our best to prevent these from occurring, once present, we must do our best to manage these chronic conditions. Using a combination of ongoing lifestyle modifications and effective medications, we will assist you in achieving optimal results in controlling chronic health issues.
MEET OUR PROVIDER
Allied Medical and Urgent Care is a family practice clinic as well as an urgent care that provides excellent medical services to the Denton area. We provide ongoing care as a general practice facility and accept walk ins for urgent care needs. Our goal is to provide up to date medical care in a timely manner and treat you as we would our own family.
Dr. Prescott has been practicing medicine for over 10 years. He is originally from Jerome, Idaho and finally found his way to Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and went to medical school soon after at Touro University-Nevada. He did his specialty training in Emergency Medicine at Genesys Regional Hospital in Michigan through Michigan State University. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and still practices in the ER as well as at Allied Medical and Urgent Care.
Dr. Prescott has five children and loves snow skiing, skeet shooting, anything outdoors and more than anything spending time with his family.
